Workwear need not be shapeless and boring. Alex thinks it should be functional, stylish and fun.
Alex trained and worked in fashion and costume design, learning commercial and couture methods from tailors, costume makers and textile artists. Working in repertory theatre, film and TV, Alex’s costumes are designed rather than reproduced. Her signature style is pattern, colour and embellishment. Today, Alex teaches fashion and textiles and designs for dance and theatre productions.
