Anna MacNeill

“I love the strong community of the West forged through its industrial past. This has played an important part within my art practice as a space to share and learn new skills”

Anna MacNeill is a long-term resident of the western suburbs having lived in Williamstown and now Footscray. She has a mixed art practice with a focus on drawing and embroidery. Through her art practice Anna has been involved in a number of community projects and organisations including 100 Story Building and FEMS (Females for Equality Making Stuff). Anna will be working with primary school students to explore and showcase various industries through shadow puppetry. Anna is working with Grade 6 students and teachers from Laverton P-12 College creating shadow side shows for Spark.
