Genevieve Murray
Designer, Industrial Fashion
Genevieve Murray is a Williamstown artist with qualifications in Education and Visual Art & Design. She has worked for many years exploring her art practice through involvement in community projects and promoting a love of visual art through teaching both adults and primary age children. Her body of work explores shapes, patterns and colours that reference nature and its resonance in industrial design. Through printmaking, paper modelling and photography, Genevieve has used personal experience alongside a desire to promote engagement with familiar objects and experiences to develop work that others can engage with and enjoy. Working for the second time as part of the Art & Industry Festival she is inspired to share ideas with the many talented creative people who have supported and guided the development of the 2020 Festival.
