'The Fashion Designer'

Nixi Killick describes herself as an “imagineer”. Growing up in a circus, surrounded by her artistic family, provided a wealth of inspiration for her fabulously colourful and imaginative creations, which have been worn by the likes of Lady Gaga and Sia.
In 2014 Nixi’s unique and vibrant work came to the attention of London-based company, Not Just a Label (NJAL), the world's leading designer platform for showcasing pioneers in contemporary fashion. Nixi was one of the top one hundred emerging designers to be chosen by NJAL for an influential trade show in Italy that was attended by stylists, media and fashion industry insiders.
Nixi’s business, NXK, is an independent label based in Melbourne that is committed to using ethical production methods to create unique, high-quality fashion. NXK uses cutting-edge technologies such as 3-D printers and laser cutters, as well as original artwork and alternative materials to make what Nixi describes as psychedelic streetwear and sculptured, techno-induced wearables.
