Jacki Staude

Costume Designer, IF: Industrial Fashion

Metalwork in general terms, describes my art practise for the last 30 years. After completing a Fine Arts Degree (Sculpture) I began making furniture for exhibition and on commission. Now based in North Shore, Geelong, I mainly make one-off works that are site specific and often architectural in scale. I develop concepts, draw options and designs to scale and fabricate the work. Other interests include gardening, building, horse-riding, sewing and dancing. Preparing a costume for the Arts and Industry Festival allows for the muddling up of some of these interest with metalworking.
